Teaching Faculty
President, Art Franczek, MBA, MST, CPA
has been a full-time member of the AIBEc faculty since 1996, and served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs before becoming President in 2001. He is a tax accountant with extensive practical experience. After serving as Corporate Tax Manager for Liquid Carbonic Corporation in the United States, he spent three years in Togliatti, Russia, as a business consultant with the U.S. Peace Corps. In Moscow, he works actively on tax and customs issues with the American Chamber of Commerce and the Association of European Businesses (the European Business Club till 2004).

Director, Konstantin Kontor, MBA
holds an MBA with a major in finance from UCLA. He is a graduate of Moscow Physical Technical Institute and was among the first students to graduate from the Russian-American Independent University, which served as a prototype for development of AIBEc's current program. From 1995 to 1998 Kontor served as Director of research for RINACO Plus, a major Moscow brokerage firm. He is now the managing partner at KKP Partners, an investment and strategic consulting company and a visiting professor in Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.

Marian Dent, JD
holds a JD, Boat Hall School of Law, U. California, Berkeley, was formerly director of the American Bar Association's Moscow office and earlier an associate with Kirkpatrick & Lockhart in Washington, D.C.
Course: International Transactions.

Vladimir Lissniak, JD
represented Russia in France for a number of years as a diplomat. He has experience in bi-and multilateral negotiations both in public and private sectors, UN, European Union, embassies. He was a member of negotiating teams and solo negotiator for various clients including Sberbank, American Standard, Asia-Pacific Lawyers Association in many countries. Vladimir conducted negotiation seminars for lawyers in Baker & McKenzie law firm and other companies.
Courses: Principles of Business Law; Negotiations and Disputes Resolution.

John Speir, PhD
holds a PhD from Oklahoma University has many years of teaching experience at various American Universities.
Courses: Managerial Economics; Macroeconomics; Operations Management.

Karen Fox, PhD, MBA
holds an MBA from Kellogg and a PhD from Stanford and is currently an Associate Professor of Marketing at Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley. Dr. Fox has been lecturing in Czech Republic, France, Brazil and China. and has published numerous books and articles on Services Marketing. She has been consulting US governmental agencies and major multinationals. She was a Fulbright scholar and lecturer in Russia, where she conducted research on Post-Soviet changes in Services Sector.
Course: Services Marketing.

David T. O'Hara, MBA
holds an MBA and an MA from the University of Texas. He was Chief Operating Officer of Rambler Internet Holding, operator of a variety of projects including the most visited site on the Russian Internet. His internet entrepreneurial activity includes creating a website for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, serving as a consultant for a B2B startup, and creating an Internet services business. In 1995 he opened and operated a Pizza Hut franchise in St. Petersburg, the first Western franchise in that city. Currently he is CEO of Moscow's leading real estate company Cushman & Wakefield Stiles & Riabokobylko.

Vadim Grigorian, MBA
holds a CBS from AIBEc and an MBA from INSEAD. He has extensive experience in marketing and is currently the marketing director for Pernod Ricard Rouss.
Course: Marketing Action (emphasis on marketing luxury goods).

Gerald Rohan, MBA
holds an MBA from Iona College, a graduate of NYU Business School, has extensive experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is formerly the Director of Global Energy and Mining at PWC and the co-chair of the Energy committee at AmCham.
Courses: Strategic Management; Improving Presentation Skills.

Ekaterina L. Mikhailova, PhD
is an internationally certified gestalt-trainer, psychodrama practitioner, co-founder and leading counselor of the training institute IGISPP. Dr. Mikhailova' teaching experience includes lecturing in personal psychology in the MSU and in theory of groupwork in the Moscow City University of Psychology. Dr. Mikhailova is the author of a number of psychology bestsellers including "Vasilisa's Spindle" and "The Trifles of Psychology".
Course: Business Psychology.

John Harrison
is a British citizen who has extensive experience in Media and Public Relations areas. He has worked in Russia for over 10years and is currently the managing editor of Passport Magazine.
Course: Media and Public Relations.

Daria Panina, PhD
holds a PhD in international human resource management from Rutgers University, USA, and an MA in political economy from Moscow State University. Dr. Panina teaches at Texas A&M University, and her research interests include international strategies of professional services firms, human resource management, organizational adaptation and organizational behaviour in the developing economies. Prior to joining Texas A&M, Dr. Panina worked as an HR-manager, Head of Research in a leading international executive search firm, and a senior researcher in the Harvard Russia project both in Russia and the US.

Gregory Troussov, MBA
holds an MBA from the University of Colorado. After working in the US for several years, he returned to Russia and he has gained extensive experience in applying Marketing Research methods to Russian companies. He is the President of "Kontakt-Expert", Moscow consulting company which provides services in the areas of strategy, marketing, performance management and personal development.

Jerome Dumetz, MA
has conducted research and consulted widely in the sphere of cross-cultural management in France, Holland and Russia.
Course: International HR Management.

Aleksander Korogodsky, MBA
holds an MBA from one of the leading US institutions. Formerly - C-suite executive, now - partner with Deloitte. He is also a visiting MBA professor in one of the largest private universities in New Jersey, USA.
